Adult Education Department

Mission

The mission of Adult Education is to cultivate life-long learning and strengthening the quality of life through educational and career preparation for members of the ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø New ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø community.

Our Goal and Vision

Adult Education prides itself in providing effective programs in High School Equivalency (GED®) preparation and courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) and “opening doors” to opportunities and student success.

Adult Education serves as a bridge to academic and vocational programs offered on campus and statewide post-secondary education.

High School Equivalency (HSE)

The Adult Education program prepares the adult student for the Official Accredited High School Equavelency exam.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

The Adult Education Program provides non-native speakers with ESL classes to improve their English language skills by building their vocabulary base, comprehension, life skills, and conversational abilities.
